Since I wasn't bothered during the series original run, I am going to concentrate mainly on the 9th and 10th Doctors.... Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant.

The Story

The most recent series surrounds the travelings of a lonely alien simply named The Doctor. He is the last of a super race known as the Time Lords. Through their efforts the Universe was saved from destruction during the Time War, but cost them their very lives.. leaving only The Doctor to roam solely. Though The Doctor changes; through a form of regeneration, and with the aquistion of many companions throughout his journeys, he always uses the TARDIS ( Time And Relative Dimension In Space) as his means of travel. It is a vehicle capable of travelling through time and space... the last relic of the Timelords.
